The Connemara Set:
In the first three figures, the order is 1st Tops, 1st Sides (on the right), 2nd tops and 2nd sides, the swing is in ceili-hold and the tops join for the final swing
In the fourth figure, the hold is waltz-hold
1st figure (reel):
All lead around, lead back, steps and swing
Tops dance the figure: advance/retire twice, house and swing
Sides dance the figure
Tops ladies chain and swing
Sides ladies chain and swing
Tops repeat the figure
Sides repeat the figure

2nd figure (reel):
All lead around, lead back, steps and swing
Leading gent and opposite lady dance around each other, swing, collect your partner, advance/retire twice, house and swing

3nd figure (reel):
All circle, advance/retire twice and swing
Each couple, in turn, advance/retire, advance, turn out from each other, swing your partner, swing in four with the opposite couple, ladies chain and swing

4th figure (polka, typically Maggie in the wood):
All circle, advance/retire twice and dance at home
All circle, advance/retire twice, ladies move on, dance on to the next place, repeat until you're back home with your own partner and swing in 8 to finish
